About Matt

Hi, I’m Matt

I wear many hats.

I’m a New York City based sound editor, assistant editor, and animator. Since finishing school I’ve worked in both film and television on a variety of non-fiction and fiction projects, from indie feature films and documentaries for prime time television, to comedy shorts and web content.

I’ve helped finish and conform/online shows for PBS and HBO, cut dialog and ADR for feature films, both documentary and fiction, re-laid multi-track location sound on features and multi-part television specials, loaded and logged documentary footage, burned many many many DVDs, spent a lot of time with my head in Pro Tools, Avid, Final Cut, Photoshop, Filemaker, and After Effects, done archival image restoration and photo animation, done text layout for opening titles and end credits, organized archival multimedia databases for editors, worked on set managing data, sunc dailies, put out metaphorical fires, saved equipment from very real hurricanes, and learned a lot.
